life of Aunt Liesl 1945-1956
Last year was before the war ended for Our aunt, as with many members of the Wehrmacht turbulent and fateful. She came in August b1944 in a detention center in Augsburg and in November she was transferred to Malcesine (Italy-Lake Garda) to unity "Eskulab 7".
came in March 1945 as a news assistant for aunt Alfi in Verona to the local General Flakeinheit. And at 09:05:45 to 09:08:45, as already written, she was in captivity in South Tyrol.

Soda With Balls In It
visit to the nursing home, my aunt was Sunday announced. The disease progresses. (Dementia in Alzheimer's disease), despite medication and very good care.

Born in 1921 in Parschnitz, district Trutnov, Bohemia. Daughter of John G. Mason and his wife Frances (Fanny) geb.Demuth.
1927, with 6 years you were in elementary school and public school for 3 classes with success.
As an apprentice, from autumn 1935 to autumn 1938 in the chocolate business, "Leon Moniroff .
In 1938 a mandatory financial year on family Halbhuber has been made. Then half a year to the Reich Labor Service in Kleinwandris in Legnica. (Lower Silesia)
then until 1942 grocers J. Kraus and lingerie shop " Anni Midikenda in Trutnov.
The war had long since, and young women should also do their duty. All women in the munitions factory, but my aunt did not want to. So she volunteered as an air news assistant from February 1942. It was recovered after office village, district of Opole. This was followed by a 6-week basic training as a remote speaker in Br Eslau.
It was assigned to air defense-news department, later renamed Ln-Abt.1/81 . Commanding General the German Luftwaffe in Romania was General Gerstenberger. The Ln.Abt.81 was used for the telephone-telegraph and radio services operating on the staff of the commanding general and on other Air Force agencies.
Use in Romania, Yugoslavia and Italy went on May 09, 1945. (American captivity) is exactly on Aug 09, 1945, she was discharged in Auebach at Nuremberg to pastures (Upper Palatinate) ........ Much later, some of the Ln-Abt.1/81 met again in Bochum on 09/08/1985 .
