FOREVER - seems not long enough
The Soccer World Cup aftermath are digested, the school, so "everyday" has started again and it will provide time to you with reading material and positive vibes.
There were so few UP and DOWNS, indeed so many Rollercoasterfahrten, but that belongs to nem healthy life to non was, and that even your Veri!
'm one year ago today I level with Andy, my Mom and Marlene somewhere rumgestiefelt in St. Petersburg, Russia, yes wahrscheichlich we sat level with this mega interesting "Umbrella Tour" in one of the many castles or somewhere comfortable with a beer overlooking Isaac ... yes the one years ago I did not even entirely sure where this journey, "my free year," lead me to be and where it ends. Thus, a foreshadowing was there that South Africa will be the end of my journey.
Since October 2009 I am now in beautiful Cape Town and again I hear the same question
"
So when are you going back to Germany or are you staying here forever? FOREVER is a strong word! I did always hard to answer this question, it made me feel goose pimples ... who knows what comes?
And now I'm sitting here with the same butterflies in the stomach as in 2001, 2008 and continuously since October 2009 and FOREVER the word does not seem long enough to be! I can not describe this love of Cape Town, the weather and especially the people here - it grows from day to day and my heart and my soul at last arrived.
I had only a few days ago a moving encounter. Ashanti Bar: An older couple, both teachers in their Saabatjahr on a world tour, the first very critical were my plans against: "civil servants do not '?" Pension "What?" Aufgebgen secure job, "," Security? " Dreamer "-! oh man I heard speak my DAD. After an intensive integrated call me both looked at
"Wow, you should be Ambassador to South Africa, and one thing is clear, we will send our daughters NEVER here when the meet YOU, then keep the front right here."
Yes I'm living my dream - and many still consider myself naive.
I am a dreamer and I will remain so.
But now all the worried dad's out there, yes, especially to YOU my dear PAPA:
Your Töchterli yesterday signed a contract at the German School to get in Cape Town, good salary, great opportunities, yes, and even a pension, aid to health insurance and a 13th Month pay, oh yes and your grandchildren (With Dene I still leave some time) where you get a good education.
Wohoooooooooooooooo I've done it! But that's not all: the family that I have built up around me is just fantastic. Whether it is my colored brown sugar or my Family by Jemaine Syndey Street 11 family, it's great to have found a new home and feeling well.
We currently WINTER here in South Africa.
really terrible this winter, every day between 20-20 degrees ;-) socks ... what is it? What was always my dream, "once to live in a country where you do not need socks and flip flops can wear every day" -
YES I AM RIGHT THERE! come in a week three "BIL - ianer, 3 students from my old school here. My first attempt at Cape Town-Stuttgart to connect to an exchange. And if it works, then I will actively and with full motivation to build on.
"Lilly", my purple beetle also goes for check up and you'll hear me from 2 blocks far come from ... this is the loud engine or the music? :-)
We have a new addition in the family .. little "Malachi" was born during the Germany game - my German brother and I am :-) now the proud Auntie Ve!
I was so on my first "Baby Shower" - girls that tradition in Germany in which I will next introduce the dwarf is born!!
Last weekend I was playing at a wedding of a friend here, "Say YES to Love", quite small but really from the heart ... you see the life here in some respects not much different from than here at home .
I learn from day to day Xhosa (language) that works with the Schnallzen still not quite but I am practicing diligently!
I must confess
"vegetarian" Mama Goodbye ... if you read this you will come the tears, so your Töchterli eats meat again ... is simply not possible to endure when you are in the black-colored community residents and EMSI has a roommate.
is the weekend busy GEBRAAIT (grilled), we sit on the roof will look at the sunset, Sunday morning's traditional Familienfrüstück in Syndey Street 11 ... NO Absolut Vodka ban since Bas a somersault attempts from the roof and has half the roof broke down along with Bas!
I started with yoga, walk diligently in the gym, and of course go running to my beloved ocean ...
.... wake up every morning with the smell of sea air, in my "Lilly" to chat to rise, let the Table Mountain behind me to see the sun rise slowly and sit in the evening after a long day with a cold Sawanna on my star terrace briefly with Emsi or ninja ...
... yes FOREVER CAPE does not seem easy LONG ENOUGH to be!
Pheno my "GERMAN Heintz"
